Community Care Grant
Community Care Grant: The Community Care Grant does not have to be repaid. Such a grant can be claimed if you are getting income support or likely to get it within six weeks. This could be where you are expected to leave a hospital, nursing home or prison, etc, and then claim income support.
What is Direct Payment?: A Direct Payment is money that may be given to you by your social services department to buy the support you need to care for the person you looking after.
