Telephone helpline operating 24 hours a day offering emotional support for anyone in crisis. Offers a listening and befriending service to people who are isolated, feel in despair or who are suicidal. Also open for drop-in 10.30am-10.30pm 7 days a week. The national local rate Samaritans number (08457 90 90 90) can also put callers through without delay to their nearest unengaged branch.
