Children's Society - LEAP Project
Service Offered
Deliver awareness raising and training around needs of disabled children, in a range of early years settings. Work in primary schools (Leeds) and secondary schools (Bradford), encouraging integration of asylum seeker and refugee children and challenging misconceptions around asylum seeker and refugee issues. Support for volunteers running parents groups. Work with Asian fathers in Bradford.
Target Group
Children, young people and families, including refugees and asylum seekers.
Languages
French, Hindi, Pashto, Punjabi, Urdu and access to interpreters.
