Jewish Care - Shalvata and Holocaust Survivors Centre
Service Offered
Two centres which run side by side for Holocaust survivors, refugees and their families. Holocaust Survivors Centre provides a social and lunch club, with a range of social, recreational and cultural activities. Shalvata provides counselling, therapy and social work for survivors of Nazi persecution. Shalvata also works with a group of Bosnian refugees.
Target Group
Jewish refugees and survivors of Nazi persecution. Bosnian refugees.
Languages
French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Serbo-Croat and Yiddish.
Area Served
Holocaust Survivors Centre - all London. Shalvata - clients come from all over the UK.
