Service Offered
Local Government Ombudsman service. Investigates complaints about maladministration causing injustice to individuals. Investigates complaints about local authorities and other authorities covering issues including education, housing, social services, environmental health. A list of authorities covered can be found on the website. Advice Line provides information and advice on making a complaint.
Target Group
Users of local authority services. Note this office does not cover York, Lancaster or Manchester.
